Committee on Diversity
Newhouse has a standing Committee on Diversity made up of faculty, staff and a student representative. The committee’s role is to facilitate efforts to increase the participation, opportunities, and representation of underrepresented groups in all aspects of the School’s structure, pedagogy, and operation.
The committee is involved in ensuring diverse perspectives are reflected in Newhouse policies and planning, recruitment, curriculum, mentoring, and training. Their role is to guarantee diversity is woven into the fabric of the Newhouse experience.

Mission
Our mission is to provide a sense of global community at The Newhouse School, and to be a resource on multi-racial, cultural, ethnic and social issues.

Vision
By recognizing human differences as strong assets, we look to enrich the Newhouse community through diversity by engaging with current and prospective students.
